Our Story
Welcome to TS Dotyeni International.
TS Dotyeni Property Group (Pty) Ltd is a forward-thinking South African property development and management company, officially incorporated on September 23, 2021. Our mission is to deliver innovative real estate solutions across Africa, with a strong emphasis on creating value through strategic property investments and developments.
To achieve this, we seek crucial funding from the European, American and other foreign economies to drive transformative initiatives across Africa, executed through our various constituent companies in South Africa. Since our inception in 2013, TS Dotyeni International has expanded its expertise across real estate development, investment, brokerage, sales and marketing, and property management. Our vision is to become a global leader in investment, with a particular focus on revitalizing rural spaces, especially in Africa.
Rural Africa faces significant challenges, primarily due to the structural fragmentation within the banking sector and government. This fragmentation, rooted in the colonial legacy, results in a disconnect between modern funding approaches and the needs of development businesses, which are often overlooked in Africa by traditional funding institutions. Consequently, these businesses struggle to receive the support and implement their developmental agenda.
Our goal is to achieve sustainable growth and profitability for our investors while simultaneously making a significant impact on rural Africa by addressing these systemic challenges. Through our targeted efforts, we aim to bridge the gap and create lasting opportunities for rural communities. As Africa rapidly urbanizes, it’s crucial to ensure that rural areas are not left behind but are integral to the continent’s growth story.
Africa’s growth potential is undeniable, with its vast natural resources, youthful population, and increasing urbanization presenting unique opportunities for development. The continent is poised to be a significant player in the global economy, driven by the rapid expansion of its urban centers and the rising demand for infrastructure, housing, and services. The urbanization of Africa is a double-edged sword. According to Stats SA in 2020 the South African rural population sat at 19,361,915 (19 million) people which translates to 32.65% of South Africa’s total population.
Our motivation stems from research that indicates that an estimated 3.4 billion people live in rural areas of developing countries worldwide. These individuals need access to opportunities to earn, spend, save, and invest their money, just like everyone else. However, the current structural setup of rural areas and many developing countries hampers their abilities and leaves rural economies untapped and underdeveloped.
We recognize that investing in rural areas and its people is a long-term solution to the many problems that developing countries face today. It is an opportunity to grow rural economies, enabling those 3.4 billion people to actively participate in the world’s economies and attain financial independence.
